2026 Grant Recipients

Locust Projects is excited to reveal its 2026 WaveMaker Grant awardees! Selected through an open call process by a team of local and national artists and arts professionals, twelve visionary artists will receive up to $6,000 each to create innovative work that will be shared with the public across Miami in non-traditional venues and platforms.

The 2026 WaveMaker selection panel included: Roxana Barba, artist and 2025 WaveMaker Grantee; Shauta Marsh, Co-Founder and Director of Programs & Exhibitions at Big Car Collaborative, administrator of the Andy Warhol Foundation Regional Regranting Partner Power Plant Grants in Indianapolis, Indiana; Marie Vickles, Senior Director of Education at Pérez Art Museum Miami, independent curator, and artist; and Alexis Wilkinson, Curator at MOCA Tucson and Warhol Regional Regranting Partner Night Bloom Grants in Tucson, Arizona.
